Mark Garnier MP today encouraged his constituents to attend the 3rd Wyre Forest Jobs Fair, which is scheduled to take place on the 7th of June.
Following the success of the previous two Jobs Fairs, the event will bring together 50 employers from a variety of sectors.
Mark Garnier commented: "I am pleased to be able to organise the third jobs fair for Wyre Forest. This is a new initiative that I am pleased to have started and one that I think has been long, long overdue. After all, it's the job of an MP to help their constituents in every way.
"With the recent sad announcement from Sealine, and continued unemployment in Wyre Forest (albeit lower than average for the region and the country), it is important that, as the local MP, I bring together employers with those seeking work.
"We are doing more on apprenticeships this time. There are jobs available in Wyre Forest but not always the skills to go with them. That is why it is important that we help people gain those skills that we need, in order to help people get work, but also help businesses find the skills they need to grow and expand.
"So, if you are looking for work, or want a change in jobs, please come to the next Wyre Forest jobs fair."
