NATIONAL LOTTERY FUNDING
- Advice Services Transition Fund
The Cabinet Office and Big Lottery Fund have launched a new programme to support and strengthen local not-for-profit advice organisations in England. The £65 million Advice Services Transition Fund will provide grants of between £50,000 and £350,000 to partnerships of local advice providers which can demonstrate convincing plans to improve the efficiency, resiliency, and quality of local services - for the long term. The deadline for applications to the fund is midday on 28 January 2013.
Awards for All is a Lottery grants scheme funding small, local community-based projects in the UK.
Reaching Communities funds projects that help people and communities most in need. Projects can be new or existing, or be the core work of your organisation.
- The International Communities Programme
It will fund UK based NGOs and charities working overseas and projects in all parts of the developing world to improve education, health, allocation of natural resources, human rights, and/or livelihoods.
HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND
- Heritage Grants (Grants above £50,000)
For all kinds of heritage that relate to the national, regional and local heritage of the UK. It is open to all not-for-profit organisations.
- Your Heritage (£3000 to £50,000)
A small grants programme for all types of heritage projects. It is a flexible programme particularly designed for voluntary and community groups and first-time applicants.
- Young Roots (£3000 to £25,000)
This programme is for projects led by young people. It aims to involve 13-25 year-olds in finding out about their heritage, developing skills, building confidence and promoting community involvement.
- Skills for the Future (£100,000 to £1million)
Skills for the Future funded projects which provide paid training placements to meet a skills gap in the heritage sector, and fully support trainees to learn practical skills.
- Parks for People (£250,000 to £5million)
Parks for People is for whole park projects that support the regeneration of existing designed urban or rural green spaces, the main purpose of which is for informal recreation and enjoyment.
