With the campaign in full swing, the first day of the second week was no less hectic! Mark started the day by addressing a meeting of the CWC at Kidderminster Golf Club, where 80 local ladies listened to reports of progress on the campaign. This was followed by a visit to the Nightingales care home in Wolverley and then the day was rounded off with door knocking in Offmore and Comberton.
"The mood is certainly favouring Conservatives," said Mark after the day's work. Of course there will always be people who will slavishly follow their preferred parties and they will never switch, but we are certainly seeing signs of switching from Labour to Tory. Those who are undecided seem willing to support Conservatives with a little persuation."
Of course, this is 'manifesto week' when the parties launch their manifestos. Labour led the charge and Conservatives are on Tuesday.
