Mark Garnier MP for Wyre Forest attended an assembly this morning at St. Bartholomew’s Primary School, Stourport on Severn. Mark invited students, earlier in the term, in Year 4 at the school to a competition to design his 2013 Christmas Card. During the assembly Mark presented the winner, Angel Lewis, with a prize and a box of the printed cards for the school and Angel to send to family and friends.
Mark said “I am delighted with this year’s card. Angel designed a perfect card for Christmas. It is always great to visit local schools and the assembly this morning was one such occasion. The warmth and compassion from the children in talking about who they would like to send Christmas cards was wonderful and thoughtful. It is a tribute to the teachers at St Bartholomew’s that the children see Christmas as a time for compassion and generosity.”
