Mark Garnier, MP for Wyre Forest, welcomes the news that the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP Board have given the green light to funding the first part of a new link road at Hoobrook Kidderminster. The announcement follows on from a meeting in February between the Worcestershire MP and transport minister Norman Baker, during which Mark made a strong case for the link road.
Over 300 people turned up to the Wyre Forest Jobs Fair, today, in the hope of finding a job. After securing over 30 local business exhibitors, Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier, who organised the fair, welcomed the huge numbers:
Mark Garnier, MP for Wyre Forest, made a speech in the House of Commons on Friday (23rd March) in which he drew attention to some of the good things that are going on in Kidderminster. These included planning applications for local development, significant investment in local businesses and the Wyre Forest Jobs Fair.
Mark Garnier is calling on local residents to take advantage of a free energy efficiency offer, help a friend or a relative, and pocket £50 for their efforts.
Mark Garnier, MP for Wyre Forest, celebrated English Tourism Week last week by visiting local tourist hotspots, Harvington Hall, Lickhill Manor Caravan Park and Grow with Wyre in Callow Hill.
The Regional Macmillan Mobile Cancer Information & Support Service (MMCISS) will be visiting Kidderminster on the 8th and 9th May 2012. They will be sited at The Bull Ring from 10am until 3pm on both days.
