Mark Garnier MP is taking on an a trainee as part of the new traineeship scheme launched by Matthew Hancock MP and the Parliamentary Academy The Scheme, which is aimed at broadening access to parliament, was launched in National Apprenticeship week. The traineeship enrols school-leavers on an intensive twelve week training programme, combining short work experience placements in MPs’ offices, accredited learning provided by Westminster Kingsway College and specialist masterclasses delivered by the think tank Demos.

The transition from clunking slow dial up servers to super fast 4G mobile telephones has been just the blink of an eye by comparison.

Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier attended the Bully Banks campaign day in Westminster yesterday to show support for SMEs damaged by the misconduct of banks. The purpose of the Bully Banks “Brolly Day” campaign was to raise awareness of the ongoing problems with the interest rate swap mis-selling scandal.
